Discovery’s Investigation Discovery just updated its brand identity to a more simplified one with a fresh tagline – “Don’t just watch. Witness”.
The new identity is already implemented on Investigation Discovery’s channel, website, YouTube channel, Twitter and their Facebook page.
On this new identity, the network says
This bold, edgy mark delivers on the visual but signals that there’s more to see. Tactically, this cleaner logo enhances our multi-platform visibility. The slant pulls you in the way the content pulls in the viewers.
Looking at the logo, we can see the biggest change, which is the use of irregular color gradients. Earlier, it was a slanted black and white logo. Moreover, we see a new color scheme in their branding.
The response to the new identity until now has been mixed. Some love the new identity while some just don’t see the point in this change.
