Have you ever seen a logo and said to yourself, DAMN!! What was the designer even thinking? How can someone mess this simple thing up? Or maybe you see a logo and perceive it as something else? This is the worse thing that can happen to a logo. Changing the meaning of the logo and the brand behind even unintentionally is the worst thing ever and can deserve fully be called a logo design fail.
Well, this is what happened to these 9 logos. These are not the worst logos just because of the technicalities, but also the first impression that they give. You’ll know what I’m talking about as soon as you see these logos. They change the meaning of what the logo is for. If you know what the logo is for and take a look at the logos again, then you might understand what the designer might have been going for. But, you’d surely say, JUST if the logo designer had a little common sense, or had another look, he might’ve gone a different route. But, “It is what it is”.
In the following project, Italian graphic designer Emanuele Abrate redesigns these bad logo designs. Here he tried to design these logos as if they were assigned to him keeping brand colors, and purpose in mind. Do check out his other works here.
And, without further ado, let’s have a look at these bad logos redesigned.
