We are all at home right now. Maybe some of you are working from home, while others maybe are free at the moment. Whatever the case may be, I’m sure most of us got some free time in your hand. To make good use of this time, Josh Corbett has come up with 5 fun design challenges to keep you busy. Let’s check out what these design challenges are.
Let’s begin…
1. To-Do App
Design an application for keeping track of various tasks, the application must accomplish the following:
- Add/Edit/Delete Tasks.
- Organize Tasks in various categories or boards.
- Share a set of tasks with friends/family.
- Add links and descriptions to each task.
2. Dashboard App
Design an application to monitor website traffic on an e-commerce site for running shoes.
- View live website traffic and where on a map.
- View which visitors are new/revisiting/regular.
- View the website products and revenue.
- View stats for different pages.
3. UI/UX Design App
Design your vision of a UI/UX design application like Figma, XD or Sketch.
- Design interfaces for different devices.
- A prototyping tool for linking multiple screens.
- Re-usable assets (components/colors/type/etc.).
- Include a unique feature you haven’t seen yet.
4. Landing Page
Design a new landing page for the CDC (Centers for Disease Control).
- Explain what the CDC is.
- Show News and developments in outbreaks.
- Explain the importance of the CDC.
- A blog for staying safe and healthy.
5. Video Game Menu
Design a new main menu for a horror game that you like. If you haven’t then do it for a scary movie you watched.
- Start a new game/continue/quit.
- Access game saves.
- Section for bonus content.
- Creepy setting.
